IAP has formed a Committee consisting of eminent experts and IAP office bearers who have approved the science and methodology of the NAAP program. The experts have created the Red Flag Guidelines for Pediatricians to quickly assess the need for a nutritional assessment. 

The IAP NAAP Committee includes: Dr. Bakul Jayant Parekh, Dr. G. V. Basavaraja, Dr. Piyush Gupta, Dr. Upendra Kinjawadekar, Dr. Dheeraj Shah, Dr. Praveen Kumar, and Dr. H. P. S. Sachdev
